It is time.

Some days, I sit still enough that I feel all the way from my toes to my nose how lucky I am.

I will never forget the first time I felt the full body tingles of empathy, seeing another person, and watching them, and my ability to try on their life and then love them from that place.

Today, I know this is my superpower. Today I know this informs my purpose for being on this planet.

I have been given the magical blessing of creating and fulfilling my purpose by helping women reach their desired ultimate potential. The past year, more than any other year I have been pressed, asked by the universe by way of circumstance if this is what I really want, am I really up for it?

I can tell you with certainty, I am.

I exist to hold space for transformational change, and I have been blessed with a couple of really powerful vehicles to get that work done.

You see, the way it is, is fucked. We have a tremendous amount of work to do.

Women leaving the workforce because they can not create a childcare solution that allows them to have harmony with their work and their families.

Women being paid inadequately for their work.

Women managing households, companies and themselves with zero support.

Women being passed over because of the color of their skin.

I say ENOUGH. It is time to radically uproot and change the context, I for one am done with a working world that forces us to forget we have children for 8 hours of the day. I am done with women being paid less than their worth, I am done with my sisters being passed over because of racial injustices.

ENOUGH.

Ladies, it is time. It has been time, we are ushering in a new calendar year, a new space, a new era that NEEDS our energy. Not our best masculine impression of being a woman, no no, our BEST as WOMXN.

Our innate female traits, our female energy that has been suppressed and redirected, it is time to harness those superpowers and change the world.

I see you, I love you, let’s do this.

2021 vision. How is your planning going? Are you struggling to find the inspiration to create a meaningful plan for next year?

I want to share with you 3 tips that work for me to help you focus on creating a magical plan for 2021.

1. Start with you, center yourself and spiritually clear all the negative stories affiliated with 2020. How can you let go of the stories and create a brand new narrative for 2021?

2. Let yourself dream, and dream BIG! Create and visualize the most outrageous accomplishment you could imagine. We all want magic to unfold in our life so imagine what that is... then...

3. Create a visual, digital or paper visual of what that dream looks like! Some might call it a vision board. Give yourself daily spiritual eye candy to meditate on.

Once you’ve primed your pump now you are ready to set some actual goals that are smart.

Specific measurable, actionable/ achievable , realistic/relevant and time sensitive.

I’m here to help! Let’s dream to plan and plan to be on purpose!

The Art of Integration with Lindsey Rainwater

A few months back I had the distinct honor of being on the Fitness Career Mastery Podcast with Barry Ennis and Shay Kostabi. They are two fabulously talented people that are supporting fitness professionals all over the world to excel in their business’s. Check out the interview, how do you integrate?

What You’ll Learn from this Episode:

• How to integrate the things that are most important to you into everything that you do

• Create an abundance of time in your day

• What to do when you’re feeling “out of balance”

Here’s the Complete List of Tips:

(11:30) What is the art of integration?

How to decide what is important to you, including what is “important” versus “urgent”, how to these priorities into 3-5 buckets, and then how to integrate the most important things to you into everything that you do.

(17:30) Incorporating integration into your life

Take all of the tasks that you have to get done in the day. Create your matrix of time, and quadrants of “what has to happen today”, “what is just as important but can be fulfilled later”, “what is not urgent and not important” “what is not important at all”. Take the tasks, and put them into each of those categories, and then calendar your day from there. Consider creating different calendars for each of your “buckets”.

(23:30) When you feel you “don’t have time”

Einstein time versus Newtonian time. The concept of Einstein time grows with the things that you feel a profound “yes” to. If you’re out of integrity with the things that you’re doing, you’ll never have enough time for the things you don’t want to do. So if you’re doing things that you don’t want to do, you will have a very hard time finding time to do everything.

(31:00) Make good on your commitments even if the pan falls through

(34:00) If you feel that you’re “out of balance”

It’s possible that you’ve lost momentum on the things that are very important to you, even if they don’t feel as fulfilling at this moment in time. Perhaps you get a huge adrenaline rush or dopamine release from doing things for your new business. Are you choosing that rush over other things in your life that are equally important to you?

(40:20) How to go from big picture to day to day

How do you go from being a helicopter in the air looking down at your life to things like making dinner.

(48:30) How to manage compromise on your core values

(50:30) What the Women in Fitness Association is all about

Lindsey’s Blog

“As we enter a new year and decade, it’s natural to not only go into a state of reflection over the last year (and decade) and also start thinking ahead to all the things you want to do differently and accomplish moving forward. Sometimes those to-do lists can get so long that we wind up feeling overwhelmed before we even get started, and often when we do start getting after it, we soon find ourselves feeling out of balance with what we value the most.

That’s why we brought on Lindsey Rainwater to speak to us not about finding balance, but something even better- learning how to integrate the things that we value most into everything that we do, and ensure that we’re spending our time in the most effective way day in and day out, so we can quickly reach those big scary goals that we’ve set for ourselves.”

    The Context of Integration

For the past 6 years, this blog has served as a fabulous landing place to share on a variety of topics and learnings.

At each bend and turn my journey of life takes, I see how my writing here also mirrors wherever I am and paints the color of my perspective in those moments in time.  For years I have shared my own personal take on what topics that are most current for me and how my business and life intersect and the tools in relationship to my own experiences.

Another one of those "life curves" is here and this time it's My curves that are really taking shape and allowing for the baby growing inside of me to evolve. My husband and I will be expecting our first born in mid July of this year.  What a journey it had been the past 5+  months! My experience of being pregnant has naturally brought up all kinds of feelings and thoughts, and what I really want to share here is the transformational minded thoughts and ideas I am experiencing while moving towards this life change.

Of course, being pregnant is literally a change in and of itself. Beyond the physical change, is the real life practicality of how to plan accordingly and weave together all that life is offering up.

Some of the topics I will be sharing with you over the coming weeks are how the future of work, which is NOW, by the way the future is here ;-) allows for a totally new take on the working dynamics for co parenting and what's possible.  The societal pressures and models out there leave something to be desired, at least for me, and I've found my current position on the topic to be "make it up", create a way, a new method and then see if it works! Of course I am more than likely not creating something that has never been done, but thinking outside the traditional lines is what is most important to me.

I plan to share with you over the coming weeks how I am personally approaching moving towards motherhood and also prioritizing and choosing all the things that really matter to me.

Tony Robbins and others talk about ideas like "integration" instead of balance, for people like myself that are deeply passionate about their work and friendships, then it becomes less about choosing and more about integrating.  I often hear people say is "I don't act that way at work" or "in my personal life", statements like this rattle me! It is impossible to fragment yourself in that way, sure we can all perform certain tasks or deliver on objectives but who we are, all bleeds together, you are a whole person everywhere you go and if "part of you" is not at the party, well, everyone including you is suffering.

As I like to say, "who you are at the kitchen table is who you are at work"... my kitchen table is about to be set for 3, and I am anticipating the adventure of how that will propel me to be even better and have more to offer in every area of my life.

Stay tuned, my next blog will be about  how the future of work mentality is helping me create my future work routine.
